Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before your first event.

Do attendees need to download an app?

No. Every BoothLoader activity is a web app. Attendees scan a QR code with their phone camera or open a URL in any browser. Nothing to install, no account required.

How long does setup take?

Under 10 minutes from first login to a live activity with a QR code ready to print. No developer, no integrations, no configuration overhead.

What devices can I run it on at my booth?

Anything with a browser: a tablet, a laptop, a large touch screen, a TV with a wireless mouse, or attendees' own phones via QR code. The activity adapts to the screen size and orientation automatically.

What game types are available?

Five at launch: trivia, code challenge, binary classifier, estimation slider, and spin-to-win. More types are being added. Custom games are also available for teams with specific requirements — contact us to discuss.

Can I write my own questions?

Yes, that's the point. The game is your filter. A cybersecurity company writes phishing-or-legit scenarios. A database vendor writes SQL challenges. The harder someone finds your questions, the more you learn about their real domain expertise.

What if I just want to redirect attendees to my demo?

Use a Demo activity. Attendees fill in their contact info, then get redirected to any URL you choose: a product walkthrough, a landing page, or a video. Their lead is captured before the redirect.

What information is captured from each lead?

Name, email, company, and any custom fields you configure. For game activities you also get score, completion time, and a ranked position on the leaderboard. Everything is captured automatically as attendees play.

How do I get my leads after the event?

Leads appear in your dashboard in real time as they come in. After the event, you can view and filter them directly in the dashboard. If the same person played two activities, they are merged into one row so your CRM import stays clean. CSV export with scores is coming on the Pro plan. CRM push to HubSpot and Salesforce is coming on the Scale plan.

Can I see who the best leads are without reading every row?

Yes. Leads are sorted by score. The person who scored highest on your domain trivia is at the top. Your sales team can prioritize before they leave the convention floor.

How much does it cost to try?

The Starter plan is free forever, no credit card required. You get one event, one activity, unlimited lead capture, all game types, the leaderboard TV display, and a QR code download. It is the full platform scoped to one event.

What do paid plans add?

Paid plans are coming soon. Pro ($199 per event) will add unlimited activities per event, CSV export with scores, and email support. Scale ($749 per quarter) will add unlimited events, HubSpot and Salesforce integrations, multi-user team access, and custom branding.

Is attendee data handled compliantly?

Attendees see a consent notice and a link to your privacy policy before submitting their information. You can add your company name to the policy template in Settings. You own your data and can export or delete it at any time.

Where is my data stored?

All data is stored on Neon Postgres hosted on AWS in the US-East region. Lead data is scoped to your organization account. No other organization can access your leads.
