Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 17 March 2026
1. Our Commitment
BoothLoader is committed to ensuring that its platform is accessible to as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. We target conformance with WCAG 2.2 Level AA (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) across the marketing site and dashboard. Game and booth activity pages are designed to work on large trade show displays and are being evaluated for WCAG 2.2 AA conformance.
2. Measures We Have Taken
To support accessibility, BoothLoader has:
- Used semantic HTML (headings, landmarks, lists) throughout the marketing site and dashboard
- Applied ARIA labels and roles where native HTML semantics are insufficient
- Ensured all interactive elements are keyboard-operable with visible focus indicators
- Maintained a minimum 4.5:1 color contrast ratio for body text against background colors
- Scoped the cookie consent banner with a visible Accept button, keyboard-accessible
- Used
role="region"andaria-labelon the cookie consent banner - Ensured all form inputs in the dashboard have associated labels
- Applied
prefers-reduced-motionconsideration for animation components
3. Known Limitations
We are aware of the following areas that are not yet fully WCAG 2.2 AA conformant:
- Game activity pages (Spin to Win, Trivia): These pages are designed for large trade show kiosk displays. Full screen reader testing and ARIA enhancements are in progress.
- Leaderboard TV display: The leaderboard page is designed for unattended large-screen display at events. It uses auto-refreshing content which may not meet WCAG 2.2.2 (pause/stop/hide) in all configurations.
- Attendee capture forms: Custom form fields configured per-activity may not always have sufficient programmatic labels depending on Customer configuration.
We are actively working to address these limitations in upcoming releases.
4. Technical Approach
BoothLoader is built with the following accessibility-supporting technology choices:
- Server-rendered HTML for fast, semantic content delivery
- shadcn/ui components, which are built on Radix UI and provide built-in keyboard navigation and ARIA patterns for dialogs, dropdowns, and form elements
- Tailwind CSS for consistent, predictable styling that avoids inline overrides that could break contrast
- Skip navigation link in the marketing layout pointing to
id="main-content"
5. Testing Approach
Accessibility testing at BoothLoader includes:
- Automated scanning with axe DevTools and Lighthouse on key pages
- Manual keyboard-only navigation testing across all interactive flows
- Color contrast verification using WebAIM Contrast Checker and browser DevTools
- Screen reader testing with VoiceOver (macOS/iOS) on the marketing site and dashboard
6. Regulatory Context
WCAG 2.2 Level AA is the current recommended standard and aligns with the European Accessibility Act (EAA), which became enforceable in the EU from June 2025, as well as UK Web Accessibility Regulations and ADA Title III obligations in the United States. BoothLoader targets WCAG 2.2 AA as its primary conformance goal.
